“Women imbued with the Spirit of the Gospel can do so much to aid humanity in not falling.”

Pope Saint Paul VI

Marian. Eucharistic. Diocesan.

As Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus, we live in imitation of Mary as handmaid, virgin, bride, and mother in the diocesan life of the Catholic Church carrying out the New Evangelization in parishes.

“Do not be afraid. Open, I say, open wide the doors for Christ.”

Pope Saint John Paul II

What We Do

We serve as spiritual mothers in the diocesan family of the Church in order to help nurture and foster the divine life in all whom we encounter so that they might find their true home in God.

“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28

Come and See

Our Come and See Retreats are an opportunity for single women to learn more about religious life by experiencing it from the inside. Find more information by following the link below.

“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and touched with our hands, concerning the word of life...we saw it, and testify to it, and proclaim to you.”

1 John 1:1-2

Where We Live

See pictures of all of our sisters as well as the locations of our different convents.

“Virgins show forth the beauty of God’s grace . . . They are the glory of mother Church and manifest her fruitfulness. The more numerous her virgins are, the greater is her joy.”

St. Cyprian
